Autumn Activities

We don’t mean to be walking cliches, but fall has got us so excited. The changing colors, the seasonal flavors, and the crisp air are only a few of the reasons that so many people claim fall as their favorite season.

We often get asked if our working season ends after summer. Our answer is a passionate NO! We’re in the business of getting people outside. And that means rain or shine, in every season. There is so much to take and learn from the earth even in the cold weather.

As fall approaches, and trails the cold weather with it, we want to encourage you to get outside and experience your world during the most colorful season.

If you still need some convincing, here are a few of our favorite rentals available through the fall -

Biking is one of our favorite activities in any season because it can be as relaxing, or challenging as you want it to be. What better way to see the fall colors than to take on bike paths dense with forest? Located in Apple Valley, Valley Bike and Ski can set you up with the bike rental of your dreams. From Fat Tire bikes for rough terrain, to lightweight road bikes, whatever your bike needs are, they’re the one’s to go to.

If you’re basically half human / half fish like us, the cold weather isn’t going to keep you from the water. If you’re craving time on the lake but aren’t excited about the chance of getting hypothermia, rent yourself a kayak! Kayak’s are probably the most hassle-free way to get on the lake. Lightweight, comfortable, and versatile, you can bundle up and float with a book or raft down stream.

If you’re looking for an activity with the perfect mix of adventure and ease, rent a paddle board! Stand up paddle boarding connects you with the water and will give you a sense of adventure like you’ve never had before! And trust us, it’s not as hard as it looks.

This small list is only scratching the surface of things to do when colder weather approaches. We try to look at each season as a unique way to experience the world around us. Experience that with us this fall!
